Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Inspirio ("Inspirio", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Rootr ("the Service") at rootr.io. It applies to visitors, registered users, and workspace members.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account information
Name, email address, password (stored as a salted hash), workspace and role information, and optional profile details (e.g., avatar).
1.2 Customer Content
Documents, notes, comments, uploaded files, and log/data-store entries you or your teammates create or import into a workspace, along with metadata such as tags, relations, and version history.
1.3 Usage and device information
Log data such as IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, actions taken, and timestamps, collected automatically to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
1.4 Billing information
Subscription plan, seat count, and usage metrics used for billing. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Paddle (see Section 3) — we do not receive or store your full card number.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the Service, including authentication and access control;
- To power features you use directly, including the knowledge graph, search, and the AI-assisted research/RCA assistant;
- To process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud;
- To communicate with you about your account, changes to the Service, or support requests;
- To monitor, debug, and improve the reliability and performance of the Service; and
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We share information with the following categories of service providers, solely to operate the Service:
- Payments — Paddle.com Market Limited. Paddle acts as our Merchant of Record and processes subscription payments, invoicing, tax collection/remittance, and related customer support for billing. Paddle receives billing contact details and payment information necessary to process your transaction; see Paddle's own privacy policy at paddle.com for details on its handling of payment data.
- AI processing — Google (Gemini / Vertex AI). Content you submit to AI-assisted features (e.g., the knowledge graph assistant, RCA assistant, or document AI actions) is sent to Google's Gemini models via Vertex AI for processing, subject to Google's enterprise data-handling terms. We do not permit this content to be used to train Google's general-purpose models.
- Storage — Amazon Web Services (S3 and related infrastructure). Customer Content, uploaded files, and backups are stored on AWS infrastructure.
- Other service providers. Beyond the processors listed above, we do not currently share Customer Content with additional subprocessors. If we add other service providers that support functions such as email delivery, error monitoring, or analytics, each will be bound by confidentiality and data-processing obligations, and this policy will be updated accordingly.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Inspirio or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice to you where required).
4. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain account information and Customer Content for as long as your account or workspace is active, or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete a document, log entry, or your account, we remove it from active systems within a commercially reasonable period, subject to backup retention and any legal obligation to retain records (e.g., billing records required by tax law).
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly from your account and workspace settings, or by contacting us at info@inspirio.co. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies/local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences (e.g., theme). We do not currently use third-party advertising or marketing cookies.
7. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our infrastructure and service providers (including AWS and Google) operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
